Frequently Asked Questions

How can I start buying?

Please register and create an account. Once created we will manually approve your account within 24-business-hours. You will not be able to enter any bids until your account is approved.

Why can't I see other customers' bids?

At this time all our auctions are "blind" auctions, where each customer enters their bid without seeing any other offers.

Where does the product come from?

Part of our business is customer takeouts, where we remove technology assets from working corporate environments. The bulk of the items up for auction come from those takeouts with the rest coming from our own internal stock which has failed testing for one reason or another.

How damaged are the units?

We provide some of the defects we find with each unit in the auction description. This list is not complete and simply represents test results at a point and time in our process, not the final unit before it was put up for bid.

We however do not automatically harvest these units for components and leave them in an as-is condition, which means some units are still fully functional with only cosmetic damage.

What are the payment options?

At this time, all payments are handled offline, directly with a representative. You can pay by credit card, wire, e-transfer or apply for terms.

What are the expectations after I've won?

You must pay for the auction within 3-business days and make pickup or shipping arrangements within 3-business days after that.

Can I cancel an auction I've already won?

You can cancel at any time before receiving the product, with no penalty. However, cancelling creates additional work and costs and may impact your ability to enter future bids.
